Any challenges completed will be reset if you die, so it is probably best to focus on 1 or 2 per playthrough.ĭon't let the changes put you off.
#LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES 2 TROPHY GUIDE FREE#
You can tag in your other team mate on Free Play, if you get low on health, but if you lose all hearts or fall off a ledge, you die. Lose your hearts and you'll have to restart. It should also be noted, Levels are now one life. Each individual level has 10 challenges, mostly straightforward, although a number of these will require replays with specific characters to clear a specific challenge. Replay comes from challenges, which are a new addition. The levels themselves are quite short, and many can be cleared in 2-3 minutes, some less. Note however, that your tag team mate is FIXED and cannot be swapped during Free Play. Once you have cleared all 3 levels in a Chapter, you unlock Free Play and can replay the level selecting any unlocked character. These are small linear levels or play arenas, designed for use with 1 character and a 'tag team mate'. In their place, you have 15 Chapters, with 3 Levels in each chapter. There are no more open worlds, hubs or long levels to explore.

Gameplay wise, this game is completely different from previous games. Fortunately the touch controls all map to the buttons and sticks, although I have been unable to find a control scheme tutorial (and there is no in-game tutorial other than for the touch controls), so you will end up experimenting to figure out what the controls are. This version has been designed to be played entirely using touchscreen. This game is very different from previous Lego games.
